My first hummingbird nest!

A fellow birder showed me a hummingbird nest with a female apparently sitting on eggs. It was hanging over a popular trail in Woburn, MA. What a work of art as she made it (yes, she, as the female builds the nest, feeds, and raises the young without help from the male) from soft materials and spider silk and then covered the outside with lichen for disguise. When I returned in two weeks, it seemed that the nest was unoccupied so I am not sure what happened!
