I kept dipping on the Townsend's Warbler and missed twice this spring by just a few minutes as it had flown off earlier. Little did I know that I would catch up with this beauty in the midst of winter in a little spot at Horn Pond. What a beautiful bird with a black and yellow head and a lifer # 508!

Two weeks later this same spot became known as Warbler corner as Jose and I visited again to find a Cape May (lifer # 509) and a Black Poll!
