Fall Duck migration is a new birding opportunity for me as I always see late October and November as a dead time while I await other species. Boy was I wrong! I have joined my South Shore Birding Club the last few years on their Fall Duck Count and I have seen some amazing birds and Lifers. While our count has yet to happen, I have already seen two rare vagrants; a Eurasian Wigeon and a Barrow's Goldeneye in amongst their more common counterparts. And the latter was a lifer!
