A Trio of Sleepy Screeches! 2/09/2023

I headed into the Boston area late this morning to check out two of my screech holes to see if anyone was sunning on this cold winter morning. I also headed into Franklin Park to see if I could spot another that has recently been seen pretty far in the woods. I lucked out seeing all three with their similar poses!

Since it was about three in the afternoon and only a couple of hours until sunset, I stuck around to watch one of the owls open up its eyes and fly off to hunt. So amazing!
